    Description

    STANLEY VINTAGE BAILEY No. 4 SMOOTH BOTTOM PLANE
    From the estate of a local carpenter. Plane is dusty and a bit rusty but in working order. Two piece rear wooden handle is a bit loose on the top end. When the blade is removed, the letter "U" is visible in the center and the number "3" can be seen closer to the bottom.
    I have no idea what that signifies.
    The carpenter etched his name into the side of his plane -" John Garth":  - see pix. The background of the logo is in orange. See photos for details.
