    Description

    Made from 1898 to 1970. " The work horse of the old time finish Carpenter" it was said. Used for doors, windows and all kinds of millwork. This type 13 has the first 'Stanley' in a notched rectangle on the lever cap. Apr-19-10 is cast in the bed. Rosewood handle and knob. Note: the horn on the handle was broken off and has been replaced with a new piece of Brazilian Rosewood, Epoxied and formed exactly like the original. See pics. Also has a Stanley Works iron.
