Stanley No. 605C Bedrock Plane

Stanley No. 605C Bedrock Plane. Condition is "Used".
This is Type 10 Bedrock "Jack Plane" manufactured from 1933 to 1941. This plane is a survivor, it seems to have had little use and wear.  The japanning is original and the finish on the knob and tote are also original. Most of the Bedrocks I have owned have many dings and deep scratches from hard use over the years. This plane appears to have spent most of its life on the shelf, and in a dry environment. It is not perfect, but is in the best condition of any of the Bedrocks I have owned. The almost full length iron is a Sweetheart. The iron has been honed to a 25 deg. primary bevel and a 30 deg. micro bevel. Stanley tote decal is a reproduction.
A plane this original and lightly used belongs in a collection, but if you are looking for great plane to use in your woodworking shop, you might want to consider this one, it is ready to use. I have three other 605's so I am parting with this one at this time.
