Stanley Bedrock No. 606C Plane ( Corrugated bottom)

Stanley 606 Bedrock Corrugated bottom  plane Circa 1902
This was another one of my brothers tools from the U.K that he said he purchased about 1956
from a second hand tool shop in London.
I have cleaned it up a little and sharpened the iron on my DMT sharpener at 25 Degrees with the
fine grit diamond surface. The iron is perfectly square and set to the cap iron. The wood shavings in the
picture were from pine, walnut and cherry after I set the iron.
The lateral adjustment lever and the brass iron adjustment  knob work smoothly. The front rosewood
knob has a hairline crack that apparently has been there for many years and the rosewood handle is a
thing of beauty and comfort.
It was some craftsman's dream plane 120 years ago. I'd like to see it  go to a new woodworker's bench.
