    Scarce Union No. 44 Combination Plow Plane. Another great story about these iconic planes of Jacob Siegley. According to Mr. George Lanier in his must have book: "Jacob Siegley's Combination Planes" he states "To turn the No. 2 plane into a No. 44 plane, 1) the cast Siegley name was machined off the auxiliary section bridge, 2) the No. 2 was machined off of the fence and both machined areas were painted silver. In addition, the domed cutter clamping screw is stamped with UNION PLANE CO. MADE in U.S.A." ....
    The plane comes with the short arms and a 7/8" cutter. A good example of a rather scarce plane. Nothing broken.
