    Description

    VINTAGE "RED BEAR" FIBERGLASS RECURVE BOW FROM BEAR ARCHERY
    The bow is used but clean and although it DOES NOT include an authentic 50 AMO string, I made a 46" string out of paracord so that I could string it, draw it back, and test shoot it.
    (I will include this paracord string with purchase)
    While there are no splits, cracks, splinters, or weird noises, there are some scratches commensurate with its age.
    Brace height of around 8".
    Ideal for the beginning archer but could also be a nice addition for the collector.
    This model is ambidextrous with an arrow rest on both sides of the handle.
    It weighs approximately 13 1/2 ounces.
    Bear started manufacturing bows in Grayling, MI in 1947 and moved their facility to Gainesville, FL in 1978.
    I believe this bow was made in the mid to late 60's because I remember owning this model around that time as a young boy.
