RARE Left Handed - JENNINGS "Bow of the Future" Compound Bow - FREE SHIP

Other than prototypes, this is the original and very first compound bow by Jennings - Patent 3486495. The bow is a rare left handed version and in fair used condition. It is an estate find of a late archery shop owner who had a personal relationship with Fred Bear. We have several bows and bow parts from early bows that will eventually be listed in our store. Please check back or drop us a note if interested.
When we found it, the bow was covered in a thick layer of workshop dust. Most of the screws are rusty and could use some work or replacement to bring the bow back to original condition. Measures 47 inches axle to axle. I believe it to be a cast aluminum riser with wood laminate limbs. The bow is old and should be taken to a bow shop and checked before pulling back or shooting. Please note - Our home has pets including two German shepherds, a lhasa apso, four cats and 30 fishes.  The fishes and lhasa apso do not shed. The rest of our zoo does. All articles of clothing are stored in lidded bins in our inventory area where pets cannot get to them. Clothing is inspected for and cleaned of any hair before shipment. We may, however, miss some hair somewhere on the piece of clothing. If allergic to cats or dogs, it would be advisable to launder the clothing before wearing or to shop elsewhere.
