    Description

9 Vintage Early 1940s Ken-Rad Photo Flash Bulbs
    No. 22 Synchro-Press
For use with Press Camera. (1)
These 1940s flash bulbs have never been used.
I believe this brand of flash bulb and packaging/sleeve design
is rare and would be a great addition for the collector.
Made by Ken-Rad (Lamp Division), Owensboro, Kentucky.
The Kentucky Electrical Lamp Company was sold to the
Kentucky Radio Corporation in 1918, later known as Ken-Rad.
Ken-Rad was taken over by Westinghouse Electric Corp in 1943.

Please see photos for the overall condition of flash bulbs
and their packaging, as well as for detailed information about the
bulbs themselves which is contained on the bulb sleeves.
All flash bulbs themselves are intact.
One of the bulbs is cracked but still intact (see photo 10).
The paper sleeves are in varying condition and
    extremely fragile
    because of their age.
5 bulbs have complete sleeves. A 6th sleeve has the front panel
with logo missing - someone had placed a piece of the larger
box packaging around it. This came off during photographing
    and
I have shown it in photo 5. 3 of the bulbs do not have sleeves.
There is also a remnant of the larger box packaging
    for the flash bulbs (see
    photo 11
    ).
Last photo included for info only, not included in sale!
