Description
This Series of 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Notes display the portrait of George Washington at left and a blue Treasury seal at right. At center is the prominent name of the city location issuing Federal Reserve Bank. The reverse features a patriotic eagle grasping a flag printed in green ink, thus this note is commonly called the "Green Eagle. This series has varying districts and signature combinations making it very popular amongst collectors.This example of Friedberg 710* displays bright paper with dark inks throughout and is a tough Boston star replacement with just 25 known in all grades.
