For your consideration is a 1896 "Educational Series" Note Silver Certificate Fr #224 Tillman / Morgan signatures. The note has a grade from PMG of 40 (Extremely Fine). The Educational Series came in and denominations i have all three in different grades which will be listed later. The on the obverse side has a personification of History instructing a youth, pointing to a panoramic view of the Potomac River and Washington D. C. The Washington Monument and the Capital are visible in the background. The United States Constitution is displayed on the right. Circling the motif are the last names of famous Americans. Some of does listed are: George Washington, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Robert Fulton, Samuel F. B.Morse, & Ulysses S. Grant. On the reserve are Martha and George Washington.
